American aircraft carrier in Cape Town

The USS Theodore Roosevelt is currently docked outside the Cape Town harbour; we took a few shots of it from in front of the Table Bay Hotel at the V&A Waterfront. You can read the full article on the main Cape Town Daily Photo site.

The third photo below gives a good indication of just how far out the ship is docked.

Nuclear means it has nuclear powered engines, it does not mean it is carrying WMDs.
